State Report Card: Lake Bluff students continue to perform well
11-26-2013: We are pleased to report that approximately 83% of our students were able to meet or exceed the state standards and, under the old cut scores, our numbers would have been in the middle-90's! To view our report card, click HERE.
LBES Principal Search Update: Leadership Profile Report released
11-21-2013: The Leadership Profile Report for the LBES principal search has been released. The report was compiled by educational search firm Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) from input received in meetings with individuals and groups in individual interviews or focus group settings, and from the results of the online survey completed by stakeholders. HYA is conducting a nationwide search for the LBES Principal, with the Board's appointment expected to take place in late January 2014.

10-30-2013: Responses from the anonymous 5Essentials statewide online survey, administered last spring to teachers and sixth- through 12th-grade students and their parents, will be released through the state-produced School Report Card on October 31, 2013. The new, redesigned School Report Card will feature the survey participation rates among teachers and students for each school and a link to the raw data of student and teacher survey responses on the State Board’s new Report Card website. Lake Bluff School Board 65 announces a $2 million net savings to taxpayers
10-23-2013: At its October 22, 2013 meeting, the Lake Bluff District 65 Board of Education unanimously approved the restructuring of existing school bonds. This is expected to save the District slightly over $2 million over the remaining term of the bonds. Click HERE to read the full announcement (two-page pdf)
Proposed Strategic Plan implementation presented to the Board of Education
10-18-2013: Community members, parents, subject matter experts, teachers and staff in who worked to develop the proposed implementation portion of the Lake Bluff Schools Strategic Plan presented that plan to the Board of Education on Tuesday, October 15.
