We are happy to announce that the Board of Education meeting videos are back on our website again.  There absence was caused by a problem with the outside video storage company that all LF/LB schools and governments were using.  After a lot of hard work by our tech staff we are now back in action.  Thank you for your patience.  Click the camera to watch.  Depending on your own internet access, it can take a few minutes to load so please be patient.

The email system at District 65 has been having some ups and downs this week.  This has caused problems with outgoing emails at some times and incoming emails at other times.  If you sent an email to anyone in the District and were expecting a reply and didn't get one please assume we didn't receive it and resend it.  Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The Lake Bluff School District will be hosting a series of financial forums to help to educate district taxpayers about the school district's budget and the impact of the economy. The meetings will cover:

• The decreasing EAV (equalized assessed value) and how it will affect future revenue for the School District
• How the District has been proactive in it's planning
• Informing taxpayers about what EAV means to them and their tax bills
• Examples of how resident tax bills could be affected at various tax rates
• Questions from those in attendance

These meetings will take place from 5:30-6:30pm before the August 24th, September 28th, October 26th and November 16th Board of Education meetings at the Lake Bluff Village Hall.
