Tickets on sale now for LF-LB LDA fundraiser Spring Marché on May 1
4-14-2014: The Lake Forest-Lake Bluff LDA Spring Marché will be held Thursday, May 1 from 10 am to 5 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm  at Lake Forest Club. The event funds the volunteer organization's important "Make a Difference" grants which provide funds for a variety of tools that assist children in the community who learn differently. Lake Bluff School Board names new Director of Finance and Operations
2-26-2014:  At its Tuesday, February 25 Regular meeting, the Lake Bluff District 65 Board of Education named Jay Kahn as its incoming Director of Finance and Operations. Mr. Kahn will replace Jane Lair, who will be retiring in the 2014-2015 school year.  Read More>>

2-3-2014: Recent grants by the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) will fund a variety of tools to assist children in the community who learn differently. Read More>>

Weather cancellation makeup days
1-31-2014: To avoid going into the second week of June and interfering with summer plans already on the calendars of District families and staff, the following days will be full attendance make-up days for weather cancellations:
  • Presidents Day-- Monday February 17 
  • Monday, April 21
  • Friday, May 23  
  • Friday, June 6

New LBES Principal named
1-29-2014: At its Tuesday January 28 meeting, the Lake Bluff District 65 Board of Education named Margaret St. Claire as Principal of Lake Bluff Elementary School. Ms. St. Claire, a resident of Green Oaks, Illinois, is currently Principal at Daniel Wright Junior High School in Lincolnshire. Read More>>

Lake Bluff School Board 65 announces a $2 million net savings to taxpayers
10-23-2013: At its October 22, 2013 meeting, the Lake Bluff District 65 Board of Education unanimously approved the restructuring of existing school bonds.
