Seeking more during this remote learning experience??? For Kids:

General

Math

  • Bedtime Math - Supports kids to love and explore real word math through math problems updated daily. (Recommended PreK and up)

  • Figure This - NCTM Family based site for (Recommended 5th grade and up)

  • Greg Tang Math - Online math games focusing on conceptual understanding (Recommended PreK and up)

  • Problem of the Week (POW) - University of Waterloo’s POW, released each Thursday with solutions released the following week (Recommended 3rd grade and up)

  • Play With Your Math - Math brain teasers  (Recommended 3rd grade and up)

Reading and Writing

  • Oxford Owl - Text and games for literacy (ages 3-11) and math for (ages 3-7)
  • Pixton - comic book creator
  • Storyline Online- Developed by The Screen Actors Guild Foundation, Storyline Online features accomplished actors and actresses reading some of their favorite children’s books. (PreK-3)

  • Between the Lions- PBS reading website with read-along folktales and fables, clever song videos of letter sounds, and many more stories to capture kids’ attention. ( K-1)

  • Reading Bear- Reading Bear teaches beginning readers vocabulary and concepts while systematically introducing all the main phonetic patterns of written English. (PreK-Grade 1)

  • Biblionasium- Similar to Goodreads, this is a site for reviewing and sharing books makes reading a social adventure.(Grades 2-8)

  • Tween Tribune- Lots of non-fiction articles on this site by reading level. (Grades K-12)

  • LitPick- A reading and writing initiative that connects authors with readers. (Grades 4-12)

Fine Arts
