Welcome to Lake Bluff Elementary School

Lake Bluff Elementary School serves approximately 580 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade from the towns of Lake Bluff and Knollwood along the shore of Lake Michigan in northern Illinois.  We are located at 350 West Washington Avenue in Lake Bluff just West of the downtown area of the Village of Lake Bluff.

Our greatest strength is our students.  Most students come to us after attending some sort of pre-kindergarten program.  Our building was built in 2009 and we have students in Pre-Kindergarten through second grade on the first floor and students in the upper grades on the second floor.  Students take part in several different subjects during their day including English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Fine Arts, World Language (we offer Spanish), Lunch, and Physical Education/ Wellness.  Around 10% of our students come from low-income backgrounds and close to 12% of the students in our building receive special education services of some sort.  We offer a full continuum of supports and services for students along with lots of opportunities for involvement after school.
