Mrs. Kellie Bae
Ms. Kellie Bae is currently the Principal at Lake Bluff Elementary School. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Curriculum for the District and the Assistant Principal at Lake Bluff Middle School. As Director of Curriculum Ms. Bae worked with principals, assistant principals, district committees, teachers, and subject matter specialists in developing curriculum consistent with district philosophy and goals. This included coordinating and evaluating the curricula and instructional programs and recommending changes and/or modifications, and overseeing gifted and enrichment programs and services. In addition, she plans and carries out school-wide and district-wide professional development activities.
Before being promoted to this position, Ms. Bae served as a certified K-8 Reading/Enrichment Specialist for District 65. Previously, she was a grade 3 classroom teacher in Lake Bluff, grades 1 and 2 teacher in Schaumburg School District 54, and a classroom teacher assistant for grades K through 2 also in Schaumburg school district.
Ms. Bae earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and earned her M.S. Ed., in Reading and her Ed.S. in Administration and Supervision from National-Louis University.
