Co-Ed Soccer

Congrats to our 7th and 8th Grade Co-ed Soccer Champions of 2021!

About Co-Ed Soccer

Lake Bluff offers a Co-Ed Soccer program for 7th and 8th grade students. 6th grade students who would like to be a part of the team, will join on through the Intramural program. Depending on numbers, 6th grade players are given opportunities to play in interscholastic games. Practicing right over at a our Artesian Park Field across the street, the teams compete against competition from the Lakeside Conference. At the culmination of the season there is a single elimination tournament.

Season

The season begins at the start of the school year and runs through early October.

Tryout Information

Soccer typically draws a large number of tryout attendees here at LBMS. Due to limits on facilities, coaches, and time, this is potentially a cut sport. Typically the interscholastic teams are for 7th and 8th grade students first. If numbers allow it, 6th graders are able to help in filling out the roster. Players may be evaluated over a period of 2-4 days where they showcase their skills, and knowledge of the game and almost equally as important, their ability to work within a team, show leadership and a work ethic. Teams are then posted to the website via randomly assigned numbers the Saturday following tryout week.
