Providing Support
Many families have asked about how they can support others during the pandemic and we want to be sure to offer several resources:
- First and foremost, if you are a family with students in Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 and you need food, please let your child's teacher know. We are happy to provide support - no questions asked.
- Additionally, if you are able to provide donations of gift cards (preferably in amounts of $10 - $20) to Jewel and Heinen's for District families in need. Donations may be delivered to the Lake Bluff Elementary School cafeteria door between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Lake County United Way offers free resources to families in need of assistance (including mental health resources). The best way to reach them is by dialing 211.
- Text 847Help to 844-823-5323 to be connected to a crisis counselor 24-hours a day, 7 days, week.
- Students who are in need of support can also send a text to 847-786-0090 or an email to speakup@student-lb65.org
