Dear Lake Bluff Families,
We hope this message finds you and your family well and that you were able to enjoy a long weekend. Due to the significant weather advisories in place for Lake Bluff and the surrounding areas until Noon on Tuesday, February 16, we are making the decision to shift to a remote platform for all students tomorrow. Taking a remote learning day (e-learning emergency day), in place of a traditional snow day, allows us to maintain our last day of student attendance as Thursday, June 10th.
If for some reason your child loses Internet access due to the storm or they are having trouble logging on, please do your best to resolve it but we understand that this can happen. When we return to our hybrid schedule, please inform your child's teacher if you had any challenges during the day so it can be rectified upon our return.
At this time we feel this is the safest decision for our students, families and staff who have to travel.
Thank you for your partnership,
Dr. Lisa Leali
Superintendent of Schools
