About District 65

Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 is a medium-sized school district founded in 1895 with an enrollment of approximately 900 students located in Lake Bluff, Illinois, just 45 minutes north of the city of Chicago along the shore of Lake Michigan. Our schools provide an outstanding pre-kindergarten through eighth grade educational program for children living in the communities of Knollwood and Lake Bluff. Students attend Lake Bluff Elementary School for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and then attend Lake Bluff Middle School for grades six through eight. Most students attend Lake Forest High School after graduation. Our employees report high rates of job satisfaction and our student achievement is among the top ten percent of all districts in the State of Illinois.
