Today, we're highlighting Nicholas Schlichting, Pre-K Teaching Assistant at LBES. Mr. Schlichting has been with Lake Bluff District 65 since November 2022. Let's get to know him:

What motivated you to become a teacher?
"I love working with kids and experiencing new things every day."

Can you share words of advice or wisdom with our students/families?
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."

When you aren't at school, what are you most likely doing?
"Playing guitar, watching documentaries"

When you were younger, how did you answer the question, 'What do you want to be when you grow up?'
"I always wanted to help people in some way."
