Dear Lake Bluff 65 Staff and Families,

We are putting on our meteorologist hats tonight as we watch the weather patterns moving into the Lake Bluff area. There’s a chance that our community will see enough snow to cancel school tomorrow. There seems to be an equal chance that we won’t have a significant amount of snow. So, we will wait and see.

We will decide by 5:00 a.m. when we have a clearer understanding of the snow and its impact on our ability to safely transport students to and from school. Notifications will be sent through our SchoolMessenger via text and email and will be posted on our website.

In the event of a snow day, we will observe a traditional snow day, meaning there will be no remote learning activities. This also means that our final day of school will be a full day instead of a half day as a make-up day.

We understand that this uncertainty may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these unpredictable weather conditions. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

Please stay tuned for further updates early tomorrow morning. We encourage you to prepare for both scenarios - a regular school day or a snow day.

Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation. Stay safe and warm!

Best regards,

Dr. Lisa Leali
