Due to the forecasted extreme cold and dangerous wind chills, there will be no school tomorrow, Friday, January 23, in Lake Bluff School District 65. This closure is being made to protect the safety of our students and staff. All buildings will be closed, and there will be no classes or after-school activities.
A reminder about emergency days:
Because we are using our first emergency day tomorrow, the last day of school will now be Monday, June 8, with early release. As outlined in our district calendar, June 8–12 is reserved for emergency use, and we now have four remaining emergency days available should additional closures be necessary. The 8th-grade promotion ceremony will still take place as scheduled on Wednesday, June 3.
Thank you for your continued flexibility as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff during severe winter weather.
